We approached this special project with the intention of seamlessly marrying a new addition to an original Tudor Revival home in Rye. We studied local forms and developed a scheme that provides current amenities like a mudroom, garage with storage, and a primary suite with two walk-in closets, all while keeping the massing delicate and deferring to the existing main gable of the home. The result is a functional family home of today that befits the era and the neighborhood.-
